About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at Wood Care Group. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by developing and delivering meaningful activities, engaging sessions, and supporting events and family interaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a programme of activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Deliver engaging and therapeutic sessions that promote physical and emotional well-being.
  • Support events and family interaction, fostering a sense of community and connection among residents and their loved ones.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the home's policies and procedures.
  • Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs and demands of the home.
  • Ensure compliance with fire procedures, health and safety legislation, and safeguarding policies.
Requirements
  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and the management team.
  • Previous experience working in a care home environment is desirable but not essential.
  • A committed and organized approach to delivering high-quality care and services.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
