In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our experienced finance team, supporting various financial activities such as payment runs, journal preparation, and supplier invoice processing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing exceptions and non-workflow inboxes in SAP, ensuring that all invoices are accurately processed and resolved efficiently.

We offer a competitive salary of £29,661 per annum (plus benefits) and a comprehensive benefits package, including 25 days annual leave, pension scheme, life insurance, and discretionary bonus scheme.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing cover for the Payables Team Leader as and when required, which includes team management, payment runs, journal preparation, and new supplier/supplier details change requests authorisation. You will also process supplier invoices within SAP, including issue resolution, and verification of invoices in ReadSoft Verify. This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You should have experience with SAP and/or similar accounting systems, as well as knowledge of payment processes and procedures. A degree in a related field or equivalent qualifications and experience would be an advantage.
