Job Title: Leisure Centre Supervisor

Our client, a reputable children's charity, is seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of their residential family assessment centres based in Tooting. Reporting to the Deputy Director, you will take overall responsibility for the assessment and support services based at the centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take overall responsibility for the assessment and support services based at the centre.
  • Lead and manage the staff team, facilitating and empowering staff contributions to team discussions, decision making, day-to-day work, and the development of the service.
  • Oversee specific assessments, including reading of court papers, planning and reviewing the assessment, supporting Keyworkers to compile reports, and supporting Keyworkers in giving evidence at Court.
  • Attend and support weekly staff meetings, and facilitate and guide the family work discussions and case analysis.
  • Experience in supporting families where there have been issues of child abuse/neglect.
  • Has successfully led, supported, and managed a team.
  • Highly effective time management and organisational skills and can remain level-headed in a pressurised environment.

You will have the opportunity to take full ownership of the residential centre, whilst fully supported by the senior management team.
