Overview:
Lex Leisure is seeking a dedicated Golf Centre Operations Manager to oversee the operations of our newly established golf facility. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic team at a state-of-the-art 18-hole golf course, complete with a Toptracer Range and a café/bar.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the launch and operational setup of a cutting-edge golf facility, including the 18-hole course and clubhouse.
  • Recruit and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service, maintenance, catering, and retail experiences.
  • Manage daily operations of a bustling golf venue, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Oversee financial performance, including P&L accountability.
  • Collaborate with the golf course maintenance team to ensure an outstanding playing experience.
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with local businesses and community organizations to enhance the venue's visibility and promote golf participation.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as HR and environmental management standards.
  • Implement and execute a creative marketing strategy tailored to the needs of our clientele, supported by our central marketing team.
  • Enhance the Toptracer Range experience for all visitors.
  • Support the golf academy in delivering engaging lessons and activities for the local community.
  • Develop a quality catering service within our family-friendly clubhouse.

Candidate Profile:
  • A genuine interest in golf, with a solid understanding of the golf consumer's needs.
  • Proven experience in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of golf operations.
  • Marketing expertise, with the ability to identify customer preferences.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
