About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal People Partner to join our team in London, reporting to the Director of People and Talent. As a trusted strategic partner and coach, you will work closely with our senior leaders in the Technology, Data, and Product organization to provide expert advice, challenge, and guidance to enable them to lead their business and teams through growth and change.

You will be part of the Senior Leadership team for Data, Product, and Tech, understanding the critical business priorities, building organizational and leadership capability, and engaging senior leaders and centers of expertise to identify and deliver People initiatives that support the business as it continues to scale up while fostering our unique culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leaders on organizational design and effectiveness, key people priorities, and leadership development.
  • Advise, coach, and challenge senior leaders to expand their people leadership mindset, skills, and behaviors.
  • Use people data to proactively identify opportunities and problems, and work together with senior leaders and the People Centre of Excellence to formulate and implement solutions and measure their impact.
  • Support our leaders on key People processes, such as engagement survey feedback, promo cycles, and talent reviews.
  • Manage ER cases involving senior employees.
  • Be a leader in the People team, supporting People Partner colleagues and providing leadership for our People Advisors.
  • Support on any other People team work streams and ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in a strategic HR role, working directly with senior-level leaders in technology, data, or product.
  • Forward-thinking relationship builder, coach, and advisor, willing and confident to challenge the status quo or a people leader's approach.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills to help design and deliver people initiatives that align to the business goals and continuously evaluate priorities and act accordingly.
  • Experience from a mid-large business with 1500+ employees, with a strong understanding of org design in a tech function.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment, with a practical 'hands-on' approach and a proactive can-do attitude.
  • High curiosity and a self-starter, with a strong HR expertise, preferably a relevant HR degree or Chartered CIPD qualified.
