Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Specialist to become a vital member of our growing team. In this position, you will be instrumental in discovering and cultivating new business opportunities, directly influencing our expansion and achievements. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you will facilitate client interactions, nurture relationships, and utilize market intelligence to pinpoint potential leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Establish and nurture connections with prospective clients through targeted outreach, both warm and cold.
  • Sales Support: Schedule meetings and presentations for the external sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Market Research: Explore and assess new opportunities utilizing various resources, including social media, industry networks, and professional gatherings.
  • CRM Management: Keep precise records of all sales activities and client interactions within our CRM platform.
  • Reporting: Generate comprehensive monthly reports on business development efforts to guide sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Area Managers to achieve geographic and sector-specific targets.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: A-Level or equivalent, or an NVQ with a focus on sales (preferred).
  • Sales Experience: Demonstrated experience in a sales or business development capacity, emphasizing relationship management.
  • Cold Calling: Essential experience in lead generation through cold outreach.
  • CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems and the capability to manage and report data accurately.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with effective negotiation abilities.
  • Problem Solving: A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
