About the Role

The Isle of Man Government is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Policy and Legislation team. As Head of Policy and Governance, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our legislative programme, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure effective policy development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of our legislative programme, ensuring alignment with government priorities and policies.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and implement effective policy solutions, ensuring consideration of stakeholder needs and interests.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to the team, ensuring effective delivery of policy and legislative objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government departments, external organizations, and community groups.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislative and policy developments, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
