Job Summary:

Oakleaf Executive is seeking an experienced HR professional to lead the development and management of the people policy framework and associated programs. As the Head of HR Policy and Governance, you will be responsible for overseeing the HR policy framework, designing and maintaining individual policies and related procedures, and ensuring the HR function is compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the HR policy framework and ensure it is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Design and maintain individual policies and related procedures to support the HR function.
  • Provide guidance and communication related to policy interpretation and application.
  • Lead on policy or governance-focused projects alongside the Chief Human Resources Officer.
  • Establish and oversee governance of Employee Relations case management.
  • Provide reports and analysis for HR, Legal, and Business Leadership.
  • Coordinate with HR, Legal, and Business Leadership to ensure regulatory or internal audit activity is managed effectively.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of, and demonstrated experience in, employee relations or business-focused HR in a regulated international organization.
  • Proven track record in policy development and the provision of guidance and communication related to policy interpretation and application.
  • Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills with evidence of being able to engage and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Meticulous and exceptionally strong organizational, system, and process skills to manage multiple and competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ideal experience within the regulated Financial Services industry.
