Child and Adolescent Counselling Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools. As a Counsellor on Placement, you will be part of our team dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of the children we work with.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one counselling to up to 3 children per day, with a minimum of one day per week commitment.
- Work in a therapeutic capacity, offering emotional support and guidance to children and young people.
- Participate in regular supervision and training workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of our clinical placement program, ensuring high-quality support for our Counsellors on Placement.
About You
We are looking for a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist, or someone studying towards one of these professions. You will have a strong understanding of child development, mental health, and therapeutic techniques. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with children, young people, and our school partners.
