We are pleased to present an opportunity to become a vital member of our client's social services team.

As part of a dedicated team, you will engage in comprehensive assessments and interventions with children and families, ensuring timely support for those in need. Your role will involve direct engagement with families while collaborating with various agencies, including law enforcement and healthcare, to achieve sustainable and positive outcomes.

The service maintains a robust connection with Integrated Prevention and Early Help teams, promoting community-based support for families when social care involvement is no longer necessary.

In alignment with social care legislation and local government standards, you will contribute to the delivery of person-centered, safe, and effective social services.

Utilizing your extensive social work experience and exceptional communication abilities, you will build and sustain relationships with service users and partner organizations to ensure that services effectively address identified needs.

By employing best practices, you will strive to secure optimal outcomes for children.

Above all, your commitment to supporting children and their families will be paramount in helping them thrive.

Qualifications required include:
- Registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children and families, particularly those from vulnerable backgrounds.
- Familiarity with Court processes, Children in Need, and Child Protection frameworks.
- Proficiency in supporting children and families involved in Child in Need and Child Protection planning, pre-proceedings, and court matters.
- Understanding of factors affecting children, including abuse and neglect.
- Ability to conduct Child & Family Assessments with effective analysis, decision-making, planning, and review.
- Experience in direct engagement with children and families.
- A creative, flexible, and forward-thinking approach.
- Knowledge of Child Protection legislation and related issues.
- A commitment to continuous improvement to achieve the best outcomes for children.
- Highly skilled in establishing meaningful relationships with children and families to engage them in assessments and planning.
- Dedication to providing high-quality services to our users.
- Competence in assessing risks, protection needs, and social care requirements.
- Capability to devise individual care plans that respect diversity and promote dignity and empowerment.
