Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Child Welfare Specialist, you will:
- Collaborate with the Duty Service to assess and manage cases involving Child in Need Plans, Child Protection Plans, and Children Look After Plans.
- Deliver expert evaluations, strategic planning, and interventions for children and families, adhering to legal and regulatory standards.
- Engage closely with families, service providers, and multidisciplinary professionals to achieve optimal outcomes for children and their families.
- Maintain precise and current case documentation, ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality protocols.
- Participate in continuous training and professional development to remain updated on legislative changes and best practices.
- Contribute actively to team meetings, case conferences, and collaborative efforts to uphold the highest standards of care.
The ideal candidate will possess a recognized social work qualification and have a minimum of two years of post-qualifying experience.
