Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Area Manager, you will oversee the operations of your retail location and your team within the Frasers Group, taking full responsibility for the outcomes. Your success will stem from a robust commercial insight that enables you to train, mentor, and enhance team engagement, providing motivating leadership to exceed company goals.

Vision

You will be an active leader who exemplifies best practices, functioning as a business manager for your location, ensuring that business objectives are approached with enthusiasm and efficiency, while managing and delivering on all aspects of store operations, customer service, budget management, personnel, and product.

Key Responsibilities and Skills :

• Oversee store operations and ensure performance meets expectations on all key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Train and mentor the team to adhere to best practices and provide evidence of excellence through area/regional assessments

• Utilize reports to maintain wage controls weekly, addressing any discrepancies promptly and effectively

• Comprehend business and customer expectations and inspire the team to deliver an outstanding customer experience

• Grasp product features and advantages and educate your team to maximize sales potential.

• Understand the retail sector, business challenges, competitors, and customers, with a keen commercial perspective

• Identify internal talent, leverage development opportunities, and implement performance management processes to drive and reward exceptional performance

• Be proactive in your personal development and accept developmental feedback constructively

• Strategize for growth and create a clear succession plan to nurture the next generation and support business expansion

• Promote and embody the Frasers Group core values and guide the team to engage with these principles

• Collaborate with your team to share new ideas and contribute to the broader business

• Motivate the team and serve as a role model. Adopt a 'hands-on' approach to management and store operations

Qualifications

Essential Criteria

• At least 3 years of experience in retail management

• Ability to positively influence outcomes in sales, payroll, and inventory loss

• Proven track record of developing a management team and nurturing talented individuals

• Capable of performing well under pressure and adhering to strict deadlines

• Dedicated to achieving the highest standards in store operations and customer service

• Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyze company and store performance reports

• A proactive approach to executing tasks effectively
