In the UK, we proudly operate under the Tefal brand, a market leader in Cookware, with a strong foothold in Electrical Cooking & Food Preparation, Linen Care, and Floorcare.
As Tefal, we are a well-established brand with a robust product lineup and collaborations with renowned chefs, including Jamie Oliver, as well as partnerships with brands like Nespresso.
We currently manage 7 Tefal (Home & Cook) stores in the UK and 1 in Ireland, with aspirations for further growth in the future.
Our store in Swindon has been a staple in the McArthurGlen Retail Outlet for over two decades.Position Overview:
Join our team as a Retail Operations Leader and spearhead sales in our vibrant retail setting. Oversee product management, enhance market presence, and ensure outstanding customer experiences alongside a dedicated team of 9 colleagues.
In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding the team, training staff to optimize customer interactions, managing stock levels, and delivering exceptional service.
You will report directly to the Retail Operations Manager and regularly collaborate with colleagues from other locations to exchange best practices and product insights.
Key Responsibilities as a Retail Operations Leader at Groupe SEB:- Develop and execute sales strategies while setting a strong example for the team.
- Lead the team to achieve objectives by fostering a customer-centric approach.
- Analyze weekly performance metrics and implement necessary corrective measures.
- Continuously enhance store appeal through effective merchandising.
- Uphold and maintain high standards within the store, as first impressions are crucial.
- Take responsibility for the store's profit and loss, ensuring margin maintenance and executing action plans as needed.
- Conduct financial reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Adhere to and enforce Health & Safety protocols and reporting.
- Participate in product briefings with Product Managers and disseminate knowledge while training team members.
- Implement best practices across stores and serve as a role model while being actively involved in daily retail operations, including sales, in-store demonstrations, assisting with deliveries, and other essential activities.
- Cultivate local relationships with neighboring stores and center management to stay informed about competitive dynamics.
- Proven experience as a Retail Operations Leader in a comparable retail environment (minimum 5 years).
- Proficient in IT and familiar with retail systems and reporting tools, including Microsoft Excel.
- A strong drive and commitment to achieving financial targets.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and influence.
- Effective organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and make informed decisions.
