Key Responsibilities
  1. Partner with the Managing Director, EMEA, and the Global Chief Business Officer of Advertising Revenue, along with other senior executives, to successfully execute global initiatives in the UK market.
  2. Enhance revenue streams by innovating and implementing cutting-edge sales strategies across various platforms, with a strong emphasis on digital channels.
  3. Oversee a senior leadership team of Heads of Industry, each responsible for critical sectors including Fashion, Beauty & Luxury, Travel, Home and BizFiTech, Media, Entertainment & Auto.
  4. Promote a cohesive and strategic sales methodology among the senior leadership team to effectively increase revenue across sectors and within the market.
  5. Ensure that the Commercial sales teams maintain a strong focus on data analytics to establish team and individual performance metrics.
  6. Inspire and invigorate the broader commercial sales division, setting new standards for excellence and achievement.
  7. Cultivate new partnerships with clients and agencies while reinforcing existing relationships with key stakeholders to enhance renewal rates and stimulate new business opportunities.
  8. Forge strong collaborations with Editorial and Creative teams to ensure content alignment, facilitating successful cross-platform program execution.
  9. Establish cooperative working relationships with global stakeholders.
  10. Collaborate effectively with Editorial leadership to deliver profitable, world-class events, creating new opportunities across our brands while aligning with the brands' creative vision.
  11. Develop talent and foster a culture of collaboration, performance, respect, and excellence.
  12. Encourage teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency to deliver innovative solutions for clients.
Essential Qualifications
  1. Demonstrated experience in leading a commercial sales division within the media sector.
  2. Extensive experience in commercial revenue generation with a proven track record of successfully transforming and driving revenue across all platforms in a global context.
  3. Proven ability to diversify revenue streams and launch new products.
  4. Adept leader committed to people management, with experience in building high-performing commercial teams across all platforms, particularly in digital.
  5. A creative, inspirational leader who fosters an inclusive and empowering workplace.
  6. Experience in global collaboration to shape and implement commercial strategies within media and publishing.
  7. Exceptional communicator with a proven ability to navigate a matrix structure, effectively collaborating with multiple stakeholders across various markets and functions.
  8. Strong network within the media industry.
  9. Self-motivated individual with high energy and excellent presentation, creative, and analytical skills.
  10. Passionate and knowledgeable about Condé Nast's brands.
