Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief of Staff to support our Chief Product Officer in driving the success of our product management capabilities. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our product ecosystem and helping us achieve our mission of leveling the playing field for small businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Product Planning and Strategy
  • Work closely with the Chief Product Officer and Product VPs to develop and implement product planning cycles, ensuring cross-functional alignment and visibility across our product tribes.
  • Drive the planning and adoption of product management chapter initiatives, including progression frameworks, product bootcamps, and learning and development programs.
Operational Efficiency and Collaboration
  • Coordinate closely with the Global Engineering Core, the CTO Office, Design chapter, and Product Marketing chapter to improve collaboration and drive operational efficiency across our functional chapters.
  • Plan, lead, and execute specific product development projects in key areas where additional product leadership is required.
Strategic Initiatives and M&A
  • Collaborate with the Chief Product Officer and the Strategy and Corporate Development Office to assess M&A opportunities and coordinate due diligence from a product perspective.
  • Work with the Chief Product Officer and members of our global product community to understand product success metrics and how they are tracked and used in product decision-making.
Communication and Stakeholder Management
  • Be a sounding board to the Chief Product Officer and assist in preparation for meetings, public presentations, and difficult decisions through providing sound research.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including engineering, design, and product marketing teams.
Requirements
  1. Product Sense and Experience
  • Excellent product sense and a solid track record in product planning and product development in software companies where industry best practices are adopted.
Project Management and Collaboration
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering and design organizations and the ability to create and implement joint processes.
Communication and Stakeholder Management
  • Exceptional communication (especially written) and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Business Acumen and Strategic Thinking
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions.
