Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Clinical Practitioner to oversee the Clinical Team within our Adult Services. The team operates in the Scunthorpe area, delivering tailored assessment and intervention strategies for individuals with diverse needs, including learning disabilities, Autism, and various mental health challenges. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Registered Managers and the Locality Clinical Lead, balancing clinical leadership responsibilities with a manageable therapy caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the clinical team, ensuring effective line management and support.
  • Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention programs for service users with complex profiles.
  • Provide training and consultation to staff, enhancing the overall clinical capabilities of the team.
  • Maintain a nurturing environment that prioritizes the well-being and empowerment of service users.
  • Engage in multi-disciplinary collaboration to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess a recognized degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychotherapy, or be a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC. A valid professional registration and experience working with autistic individuals and those with complex needs are essential. Strong report writing skills and the ability to work independently are also required.
