Position Title: Senior Economist/Strategist (EMEA)

Role Overview:

PIMCO seeks to enhance its team with a senior economist/strategist focused on Emerging markets within the EMEA region. This role entails the examination of macroeconomic patterns, sovereign credit assessments, as well as local interest rates and currency fluctuations.

  • Conduct comprehensive research and develop macroeconomic strategies
  • Evaluate balance sheets and execute scenario analyses
  • Spot investment prospects and propose strategic recommendations
  • Engage in market updates and client interactions on a global scale

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • At least five years of experience in regional economic analysis
  • Robust quantitative analytical skills
  • Experience in evaluating EM sovereign balance sheets
  • Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Economics or Finance is preferred
