Who We Are Seeking
The Senior Investment Solutions Strategist is a pivotal position within State Street Global Advisors' Investment Solutions Group (ISG), dedicated to showcasing our multi-asset investment expertise to clients and prospects on a global scale. In this role, the Senior Investment Solutions Strategist is essential in conveying the investment team's fundamental capabilities and value proposition, bolstering sales and client service efforts, and serving as a bridge with Product and Marketing teams to fulfill our overarching business goals. Additionally, this individual will assist in orchestrating the investment team's involvement in the sales/client service process; responding to information inquiries from clients and prospects; crafting compelling messaging and marketing materials; producing impactful thought leadership; training client-facing colleagues on the key advantages and differentiators of ISG strategies; contributing to the strategic and tactical asset allocation investment process; and advocating for ISG both internally and externally.
This individual will collaborate closely with our Portfolio Management Team in EMEA and client-facing teams in the region to pinpoint opportunities for multi-asset investment solutions while working alongside global team members.
The Portfolio Strategist Team functions as an extension of the portfolio management team throughout all phases of the sales cycle, from initial client engagements to final presentations and ongoing client service meetings.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Investment Solutions Strategist reports to the Head of Portfolio Strategy, ISG.
  • Act as subject matter experts for ISG and its multi-asset investment offerings.
  • Drive the multi-asset class/investment solutions business strategy aimed at expanding the practice in EMEA.
  • Contribute to the RFP/RFI process in collaboration with the RFP team and other Subject Matter Experts.
  • Represent the investment team and its capabilities to a diverse range of institutional and wealth clients, prospects, and consultants.
  • Lead the business strategy, positioning, and marketing for ISG's model portfolios, emphasizing key differentiators.
  • Facilitate the creation of impactful marketing materials in partnership with the broader ISG team.
  • Engage in and contribute to ISG's strategic and tactical asset allocation investment process, with a specific focus on model portfolios.

Education and Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, with a preference for an advanced degree in Business or Finance and/or CFA designation.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in investments and client engagement.
  • Familiarity with financial software (e.g., FactSet, Bloomberg, Morningstar), alongside developed quantitative skills and proficiency in MS Office.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach.
  • Experience in multi-asset portfolio construction, ETFs, and model portfolios is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
