Job Title: Deputy Director, Programme Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director, Programme Director to join our team at Northrop Grumman UK. As a key member of our Programme Delivery Team, you will play a critical role in the delivery of Defence projects, working closely with our Control Systems Account and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Act as liaison between project management and key stakeholders, providing effective communication and coordination.
  • Support the Programme/Account Manager in managing project relationships, including partners, suppliers, and beneficiaries.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, pursuing and capturing new opportunities through to award of associated contracts.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, driving performance, competence, and talent development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience in Defence or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to deal with internal and external customers.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with ability to drive performance and competence.
