Position Overview:

Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a background in educational settings? Winner Education is on the lookout for a dedicated Project Manager to join our dynamic team, focusing on a diverse range of programs aimed at empowering students of all backgrounds.

Role Summary:

This is a full-time position within a large educational institution, where you will oversee various projects designed to support local learners, including those with special educational needs and adult learners pursuing higher education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage projects within the Strategic Projects team.
  • Oversee project reporting and claims processes with funding organizations.
  • Assist in the development of project funding proposals as necessary.
Main Duties:

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and monitoring project plans to ensure timely delivery.
  • Leading project teams, delegating tasks, and ensuring completion.
  • Identifying and managing project risks and issues, escalating as needed.
  • Providing guidance on project management practices to ensure consistency across teams.
  • Preparing comprehensive reports for project boards, detailing progress and highlighting any concerns.
  • Drafting project documentation in accordance with established project management frameworks.
  • Conducting evaluations and compiling final reports that capture lessons learned.
Financial Management:

In this role, you will also be responsible for:

  • Monitoring project budgets in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Submitting funding claims to relevant bodies as required.
  • Securing necessary internal approvals for project documentation.
Support for Funding Applications:

Additionally, you will:

  • Review funding requirements and communicate them to relevant internal teams.
  • Develop project plans, budgets, and risk assessments to support funding applications.
  • Coordinate the collection of necessary information for funding submissions.
  • Ensure timely submission of funding applications and track their progress.

  • Experience in coordinating funding applications.
  • Relevant project management qualifications, such as PRINCE2.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
