Position Overview

The Head of Human Resources Operations will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the HR function, ensuring that all organizational human resource processes are compliant, efficient, and executed promptly.

This role will focus on identifying opportunities for process enhancements, fostering development and training initiatives, and ensuring that the HR offerings at Catch22 are continuously refined to meet evolving needs. You will lead and motivate the HR team in the following essential domains:

  • Human Resource and Payroll Management
  • HR Business Partnering
  • Human Resource Information Systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the HR systems, Business Partners, and payroll transaction teams, guiding the strategy and development of these critical areas.
  • Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to provide insights to organizational leaders regarding trends and patterns in HR operations.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Catch22 to recommend improvements in HR processes that align with business objectives.
  • Maintain constructive employee relations with management, staff, unions, and external stakeholders, creating strategies for effective communication between teams.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Employee Experience to establish annual compensation strategies and propose recommendations for salary reviews, ensuring alignment with the benefits framework.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on employee relations, TUPE, and change management, ensuring that the HR teams effectively manage risks and provide valuable insights.
  • Engage with the broader organization to disseminate critical information regarding HR processes and future advancements.

Qualifications

  • Chartered CIPD professional with a comprehensive background in HR operations, business partnering, talent acquisition, and administration.
  • Professional qualification in Human Resource Management.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing and guiding teams.
  • Experience working within large, complex organizations, particularly in unionized environments.
  • Expertise in establishing and executing HR processes and strategic plans.
  • In-depth knowledge of cultural transformation and leadership development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in driving change and enhancing performance through effective management engagement.
  • Experience in handling complex employee relations issues, including TUPE and change management.
  • Proven ability to implement organization-wide initiatives.
  • Experience in leading, motivating, and inspiring teams.
  • Passionate about people development, organizational culture, and career progression, with a strong understanding of the Digital/Technology/Design talent landscape.
  • Strong focus on internal and external customer service.
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities concurrently.
