About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Skills Facilitator to join our Clinical Education Team at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. As a Respiratory Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and training to our clinical staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and competencies to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for clinical staff on ventilation and respiratory support skills
  • Facilitate and coordinate clinical skills development and education initiatives
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify training needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to clinical staff to enhance their skills and confidence
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as a Nurse or Physiotherapist with experience in complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills
  • Proven experience in delivering education and training to healthcare professionals
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work
