About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Skills Facilitator to join our clinical education team at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. As a Clinical Skills Facilitator, you will play a vital role in providing education and training to our clinical staff on complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for clinical staff on ventilation and respiratory support
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clinical staff in building their competencies and confidence in delivering complex respiratory care
  • Collaborate with the clinical education team to develop and implement education and training agendas
  • Contribute to the development of relevant education and training resources
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure that clinical staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care to our patients
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse or qualified Physiotherapist with experience of complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills
  • Managerial, organisational and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Desirable: experience of working in palliative care and developing education and training agendas
