About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Skills Facilitator to join our clinical education team at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. As a Clinical Skills Facilitator, you will play a vital role in providing development opportunities to our clinical staff, focusing on ventilation and respiratory support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and deliver training on clinical skills to the Care Team, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and competencies to provide high-quality care to our patients.
  • Develop and implement relevant education and training agendas, resources, and programs to support the clinical staff's professional development.
  • Provide effective support and guidance to the Care Team, building their confidence and competence in delivering complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills.
  • Collaborate with the clinical education team to develop and maintain a comprehensive education program that meets the needs of our clinical staff.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse or qualified Physiotherapist with experience of complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills.
  • Managerial, organisational, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff members within their clinical skills development and education.
  • Experience of working with children who have complex needs and assessing complex symptoms.
