About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Nurse or Physiotherapist to join our clinical education team as a Clinical Skills Facilitator. This exciting opportunity will focus on ventilation and respiratory support, facilitating and delivering training to our clinical staff who care for babies, children, and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training and education on complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills to our clinical staff.
- Provide support and guidance to build the competencies and confidence of our care team.
- Work collaboratively with our clinical education team to develop and implement education and training programs.
- Contribute to the development of our clinical staff's knowledge, skills, and competence in ventilation and respiratory support.
About Us
Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People is the only children's hospice in the East Midlands, providing specialist end-of-life, palliative, and respite care to babies, children, and young people with complex needs. We strive to support, develop, and educate our nursing staff and HCAs to ensure they have the knowledge, skills, and competence required to provide excellent care.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse or qualified Physiotherapist with experience of complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills.
- Managerial, organisational, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
- Experience of working with children with complex needs and assessing complex symptoms.
