About the Role

Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People is seeking an experienced Clinical Skills Facilitator to join our clinical education team. As a Clinical Skills Facilitator, you will be responsible for delivering training and education to our clinical staff on complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs for clinical staff on complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills
  • Provide education and support to clinical staff to build their competencies and confidence in delivering respiratory care
  • Collaborate with the clinical education team to develop and implement education and training programs
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify areas for education and training
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to ensure best practice in respiratory care

Requirements

  • Qualified Physiotherapist or Registered Nurse with experience of complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills
  • Managerial, organisational and leadership skills
  • Teaching, training and preceptorship skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to motivate and develop a team of staff
