Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development and Compliance: Ensure that policies and procedures are compliant with legislation, regulation, and best practice.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work with key stakeholders to author, develop, and review policies and procedures.
  • Policy Management: Maintain version control of policies and procedures, including the coordination and production of documentation.
  • Policy Framework and Portal Management: Manage the Policy framework, portal, and policy register, including tracking the review and updating of policies and procedures.
  • Communication and Training: Work with the Internal Communication Team to ensure timely translation and publication of documents, and liaise with the People and Culture department to identify training and implementation of policies.
  • Compliance Checks: Undertake compliance checks for adherence to policies in conjunction with the Internal Audit team.
  • Regulatory Updates: Monitor changes in laws and regulations and update policies accordingly.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Experience: Knowledge and experience of policies, procedures, and frameworks.
  • Drafting and Review: Experience of drafting, reviewing policies, and working with stakeholders to develop policies.
  • Horizon Scanning: Experience of horizon scanning.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational Abilities: Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, working with senior leadership and executive leadership levels.
  • Regulatory Frameworks and Compliance Standards: Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Policy Writing: Proficiency in legal research and policy writing.
