Job Title: Senior Practitioner
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our team at Kent County Council. As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children and families in need, using your expertise and knowledge to make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Child and Family Assessments: Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments of children and families, identifying needs and developing effective plans to support them.
- Support and Guidance: Provide guidance and support to families in need, working closely with them to develop strategies to overcome challenges and improve their well-being.
- Collaboration and Partnership: Work closely with other agencies and professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting children and families.
- Mentorship and Development: Mentor and support less experienced colleagues, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Registration: Be registered with Social Work England.
- Education: Hold a degree in Social Work.
- Experience: Have post-qualification experience in child and family services.
- Knowledge and Skills: Have a strong understanding of legislative and policy frameworks, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
