Senior Cardiac Physiologist | Full Time | Competitive Salary | Excellent Benefits

We are thrilled to present an opportunity for a Senior Cardiac Physiologist to become a vital part of our esteemed team at Spire Healthcare Ltd.

In this role, you will collaborate with leading consultants in the field, assisting the Cardiology Manager to uphold exceptional standards of cardiology care for all patients across various departments including the Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiology Ward, and Outpatient Cardiology services.

Spire Healthcare Ltd offers a comprehensive range of cardiology services and cardiac surgical procedures in both inpatient and outpatient environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Function as an independent practitioner within a collaborative team, delivering an efficient service with outstanding care standards.
  • Conduct a full spectrum of routine diagnostic assessments and specialized procedures within the department.
  • Prepare the Cardiac catheterization theatre and outpatient cardiology suite for various procedures.
  • Oversee clinical governance in collaboration with the senior management team.
  • Act as a deputy for the manager in their absence.
  • Support all cardiology functions within the facility.
  • Adhere to Spire policies and procedures, particularly those concerning Health and Safety, COSHH, Incident Reporting, and Data Protection.
  • Ensure Clinical Governance and risk management are integral to daily operations.
  • Perform any additional duties that reasonably align with the responsibilities of the position.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

BSc in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent qualification.

  • We seek candidates with BHRS or IBHRE accreditation, enabling them to work independently as proficient Physiologists.
  • Proven ability and experience in managing a diverse range of complex invasive and non-invasive procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in Cardiology to provide direct, high-quality patient care.
  • Expertise in one of the following specialist areas: Complex device therapy and/or Electrophysiology.
  • Current ILS certification.

Working Hours: Full Time - Flexible schedule including some evenings and participation in an on-call rota.

Contract Type: Permanent
