About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team in the Cardiac Physiology Department at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive Cardiac Device Therapy, Cardiac Catheter Lab, and Non-Invasive Diagnostics services.
  • Participate in physiologist-led clinics, including Palpitations Clinic, Valve Screening Clinic, Cardiac Device follow-up clinics, and Implantation of Injectable Loop recorders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new services and procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
  • IBHRE or BHRS certification or currently working towards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organisational and time management skills.
  • Leadership and teaching skills.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • NVQ Level 4 in Leadership/Management or willingness to work towards.
  • Experience in complex invasive and non-invasive procedures.
  • Specialist knowledge in Complex Device Therapy and/or Electrophysiology.
