About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a key member of our Cardiothoracic Services, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive Cardiac Device Therapy, Cardiac Catheter Lab, and Non-Invasive Diagnostics services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care to patients undergoing complex invasive and non-invasive procedures
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to inform diagnosis and treatment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
  • IBHRE or BHRS certification or working towards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Leadership and teaching skills
  • Autonomous practice and decision-making
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • NVQ Level 4 in Leadership / Management or willingness to work towards
  • Experience in complex device therapy and / or EPS
  • Ability to speak Welsh
