Senior Cardiac Physiologist | Full Time | Competitive Salary | Excellent Benefits

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Senior Cardiac Physiologist to become a vital part of our dedicated team at Spire Healthcare Ltd.

In this role, you will collaborate with leading consultants in the field and assist the Cardiology Manager in maintaining exceptional standards of cardiology care across various departments, including the Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiology Ward, and Outpatient Cardiology services.

Spire Healthcare Ltd offers a comprehensive range of cardiology services and surgical interventions for both inpatient and outpatient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Function as an autonomous practitioner within a collaborative team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Conduct a wide array of routine diagnostic tests and specialized procedures within the department.
  • Prepare the Cardiac catheterization laboratory and outpatient cardiology suite for various procedures.
  • Oversee clinical governance in partnership with the senior management team.
  • Act as a deputy for the Cardiology Manager when required.
  • Support all cardiology-related functions within the healthcare facility.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly those concerning Health and Safety, COSHH, Incident Reporting, and Data Protection.
  • Integrate Clinical Governance and risk management into daily operations.
  • Perform any additional duties that align with the responsibilities of the position.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Possession of a BSc in Cardiac Physiology or an equivalent qualification.

  • Candidates should hold BHRS or IBHRE accreditation, enabling them to operate independently as a proficient Physiologist.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in managing a diverse range of complex invasive and non-invasive procedures.
  • Advanced expertise in Cardiology to provide direct, high-quality patient care.
  • Specialization in one of the following areas: Complex device therapy or Electrophysiology.
  • Current ILS certification.

Working Hours: Full Time - Flexible schedule including some evenings and participation in an on-call rota during weekdays.

Contract Type: Permanent
