About the Role:

This is a key leadership position within the Piramal Group, responsible for driving financial planning and analysis across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and manage comprehensive annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans that align with the company's strategic objectives.
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to inform business decisions and drive strategic planning initiatives.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Ensure seamless financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
    • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Cash Flow Management:
    • Monitor cash flow and liquidity to maintain the company's financial stability and ensure timely payment of obligations.
    • Manage working capital, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory, to optimize cash flow and minimize costs.
  • Accounting and Compliance:
    • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, payroll, and expense reimbursement, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards, implementing necessary controls and procedures.
    • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial misstatements.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, high performance, and professional growth.
    • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities, ensuring they are equipped to meet the company's evolving financial needs.
