Assistant Retail Store Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi UK. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, while also developing your skills and knowledge to take on more senior responsibilities in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager: Assist the Store Manager in the management of the store, including overseeing the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of sales assistants and other store staff to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Operational Efficiency: Work with the Store Manager to optimize store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and supply chain logistics.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of delivering sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve their best.
- Operational Skills: Strong operational skills, with the ability to analyze data and implement strategies to improve store performance.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
