About the Role
As a Store Manager at Card Factory, you will be responsible for driving the commercial growth and development of our stores. This role requires a strong focus on customer experience, colleague development, and delivering results in line with our business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring a high level of customer service and a positive shopping experience.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and increase colleague productivity.
- Lead and manage a team of colleagues, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Make commercial decisions around stock availability, merchandising, and store layout to maximize sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with district and regional managers to achieve business objectives and share best practices.
- Monitor and analyze store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive growth and profitability.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a store manager in a retail environment, with a strong track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of colleagues.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
