Exciting Opportunity for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

As a key member of the clinical team, you will play a vital role in the operational management of speech and language therapy services. Your responsibilities will encompass budget management, clinical governance, and the development and training of staff.

Collaboration with other experienced Speech and Language Therapists is essential to ensure the effective delivery of services, maintaining high standards of patient care and service efficiency.

Providing professional leadership within the clinical environment is crucial, offering guidance and motivational leadership to the multidisciplinary team. You will also contribute to the formulation of protocols and guidelines aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.

This position may require flexibility in working hours and locations, with the expectation of participating in an on-call schedule as necessary.

Education and Qualifications:

Essential Criteria:

  • Registered Speech and Language Therapist
  • Relevant clinical qualifications

Desirable Criteria:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field
  • Management training

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Significant experience in speech and language therapy
  • Comprehensive understanding of therapeutic procedures and practices

  • Experience in managing therapy resources
