About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and fluent German language speaker to join our team as a Customer Service Advisor at Pertemps Newcastle & Gateshead. As a key member of our sales promotions sector, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently address customer queries via phone and email, providing quality advice and information.
  • Complete work tasks with thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency, paying attention to detail.
  • Professionally handle inbound calls from consumers and distributors.
  • Process inbound promotional claims accurately and efficiently.
  • Resolve queries and keep customers updated on the status of their enquiry.
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service at all times.
  • Set an example to the team with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Make effective use of downtime by assisting colleagues with other tasks.
  • Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with Client Service Level Agreements.
  • Fulfill any other ad-hoc duties.
Requirements
  • Ability to speak and write in German language to a C1 ability.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
  • Experience in successfully dealing with customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to concentrate and look closely at a subject or activity to deliver high-quality error-free work.
  • Competent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Excel).
  • Dedication and motivation to helping customers.
  • Professional and positive attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) to articulate information clearly and confidently.
  • Ability to manage tasks without constant supervision, think critically, and solve problems on your own.
  • Ability to work efficiently and to a high-quality standard.
  • Good understanding of GDPR practices.
  • Empathetic listening to understand and address customer needs effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Adaptability to changes in a fast-paced environment.
