Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Advisor to join our Business Development team in Aberdeen, responsible for supervising and being responsible for all Commercial Quotations being issued to customers across Europe and Sub-Sahara Region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Improve profitability and enhance competitive advantage by accessing optimum contract rates and commercial terms with new and existing clients.
  • Receive and log all Request for Quotations (RFQs) onto both Bid Enquiry Log and Salesforce.
  • Prepare forecast of project P&L (Bid Evaluation Report- BER) and analysis to support pricing decisions.
  • Support with other BERs and business cases within the Region as required.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of Bid Evaluation Reports for approval in compliance with company DOA.
  • Liaise with Sales or Client Account Managers and formulate RFQ responsibility matrix.
  • Liaise with Finance, Tax, Supply Chain, Logistics, and other internal departments for area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate timely responses from designated parties for inclusion into RFQ document.
  • Compile Commercial quotations and submit to Client complete with relevant signatures/documentation.
  • Guide the Commercial Analyst responsible for Quotations to maintain a Quotation archive and register.
  • Generate Monthly Business Development Reports and supervise month-end OBL report/analysis.
  • Conduct Revenue Assurance and BER Audit for the Region as required.
  • Present monthly the quotations raised and how pricing is being uplifted through the BER process.
  • Supervise the Commercial Analyst and offer guidance where required.
  • Research and liaise with Treasury Compliance to report on the fiscal probity of clients new to Expro.
  • Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained.

Requirements

  • Degree or professional qualification in Finance or Economics.
  • Previous working experience in a related commercial proposal type role, preferably within the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and XAIT Porter systems would be an advantage.
  • Advanced MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software.
