Department Overview

The Installed Base Business Unit (BU) is responsible for Framatome's nuclear engineering and services pertaining to operational nuclear plants, new construction projects, and installations during decommissioning phases. With a legacy of over 60 years and involvement in more than 380 reactors globally, this BU is committed to delivering innovative products and services, leveraging high-level skills to ensure a safe and competitive low-carbon energy source worldwide.

Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified individual for the role of HVAC Construction Lead Engineer. This position is crucial for overseeing the HVAC activities throughout the contract lifecycle, ensuring alignment with the project schedule. The incumbent will report directly to the Project Manager and will be responsible for planning and executing tasks in accordance with safety, quality, time, and cost parameters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize safety in all pre-construction activities, emphasizing both nuclear and industrial safety.
  • Manage HVAC operations from site delivery to handover to commissioning, including preparatory activities such as documentation and procurement.
  • Implement the MEH L4 schedule, ensuring timely progress and adherence to project timelines.
  • Alert management regarding any changes or potential risks that may impact project delivery.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree in HVAC Engineering with experience in installation and maintenance, preferably within the nuclear sector.
  • Project management experience is advantageous.
  • Strong technical interest in construction or maintenance of industrial systems.
  • Proficient in data management tools such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with the EPR model is a plus.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in similar roles.
  • Ability to adapt and work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in multicultural and international projects is appreciated.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders.
