About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Corecruitment International. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our Wholesale Bakery business by winning new business, maximising sustainable short- and long-term sales, boosting profitability, and increasing our stronghold in the market with a particular focus on the London HoReCa channel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively search for, identify, and realise good business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales growth plans to help drive revenue growth for the Wholesale Bakery Business.
  • Develop strong relationships with our key accounts, including Third Party, Hotel Groups, Restaurant Chains, and Delis.
  • Work effectively with the Marketing Team to develop Wholesale Assets to help improve brand awareness.
  • Monitor market activity such as price movement and new product development.
  • Work with the Finance Team to ensure clear internal reporting that tracks the sales performance trends to help continuously drive improvements.
  • Management of the Wholesale Assistant and their development within the business.
Requirements
  • A proven track record selling into the London HoReCa channel.
  • A healthy network of contacts in the industry.
  • Experience working within a small premium high-end food business, with Bakery experience being a bonus.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organisation skills.
  • Leadership qualities with self-motivation to create opportunities and deliver results.
  • Strong ability with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A structured approach with a clear view on hitting targets.
