Exciting opportunity for a skilled Ticketing Operations Specialist to join a prominent Tour Operator.

As part of our client's Reservations Service Team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the precise and timely issuance of tickets, as well as efficiently managing schedule modifications.

Experience in ticketing and GDS is crucial for this position, and in return, our client offers a competitive salary around £28k along with attractive travel industry perks.

Key Responsibilities of the Ticketing Operations Specialist:

  • Maintain up-to-date queues, including schedule changes, general inquiries, web requests, native issues, and re-issues.
  • Conduct end-of-day checks to confirm all tickets have been successfully issued.
  • Track fuel, tax, and fare adjustments, ensuring timely notifications to agents and clients.
  • Support the BSP Ticket Audit process.
  • Monitor schedule alterations and promptly inform agents and customers, executing necessary changes.
  • Notify the crisis management team of any airline service disruptions affecting passengers and ensure adherence to contingency protocols.
  • Assist with airline refunds, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Investigate any received ADM's and, if necessary, dispute them with the airlines.
  • Keep E-tracker refunds updated and process them according to reports.
  • Handle rebooking of flights, accommodations, and transfers as required.
  • Provide out-of-hours support on a rotational basis or to cover for absences.

Essential Skills for the Role:

  • At least 2 years of experience in airline reservations or ticketing using a GDS.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capability to remain composed in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient in organizing, prioritizing, and managing workload to meet tight deadlines.
