We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Iberdrola SA. As a key member of our Origination and Development team, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing new renewable energy projects across the UK and ROI.
Key Responsibilities- Site Search and Feasibility: Lead the search for new sites, prepare preliminary layouts, assess grid, access, and energy resource for all technologies.
- Land Contract Negotiation: Manage the negotiation, completion, and management of exclusivity agreements and land contracts with landowners and their agents.
- Internal Reporting and Auditing: Manage internal project and agent reporting/auditing, including performance analysis.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage internal stakeholders to deliver land contracts within the program.
- Land Agent Management: Lead in the tendering, appointment, instruction, and effective management of land agents/consultants through the site evaluation and feasibility processes.
- Due Diligence: Carry out due diligence and submission documents for tender bids.
- Property Advice: Provide ad-hoc advice and due diligence on property matters in relation to any acquisition opportunities.
- Health and Safety: Ensure all key decisions are supported by sufficient due diligence and investigation, and take a proactive approach to health and safety management.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A degree and/or professional qualification in land/property or sustainable development.
- Established negotiation skills and experience in renewable energy, land rights, or project initiation/development.
- Knowledge of renewables land agreements and contracts, and experience in renewable energy site feasibility and development.
- Competency in stakeholder management and data analysis/management for reporting and auditing.
- A full driving license.
