Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Iberdrola SA. As a key member of our Origination and Development team, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing new renewable energy projects across the UK and ROI.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Site Search and Feasibility: Lead the search for new sites, prepare preliminary layouts, assess grid, access, and energy resource for all technologies.
  2. Land Contract Negotiation: Manage the negotiation, completion, and management of exclusivity agreements and land contracts with landowners and their agents.
  3. Internal Project Reporting: Manage internal project and agent reporting/auditing, including performance analysis.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Manage internal stakeholders to deliver land contracts within the programme.
  5. Land Agent Management: Lead in the tendering, appointment, instruction, and effective management of land agents/consultants through the site evaluation and feasibility processes.
  6. Due Diligence: Carry out due diligence and submission documents for tender bids.
  7. Property Advice: Provide ad-hoc advice and due diligence on property matters in relation to any acquisition opportunities.
  8. Health and Safety: Ensure all key decisions are supported by sufficient due diligence and investigation, and take a proactive approach to health and safety management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A degree and/or professional qualification in land/property or sustainable development.
  • Established negotiation skills and experience in renewable energy, land rights, or project initiation/development.
  • Knowledge of renewables land agreements and contracts, and experience in renewable energy site feasibility and development.
  • Competency in stakeholder management and data analysis/management for reporting and auditing.
  • A full driving license.
