About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Sulzer Ltd. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Financial Controller in ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of financial internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Drive standardization of financial reporting and processes across multiple entities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage statutory reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Lead the transfer of activities to our outsourced accounting team to optimize resources and improve productivity.
  • Provide robust financial accounting and analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Generate and maintain the integrity of key financial reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Assist in monthly closing, including management analysis to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Pro-active and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA with a degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounting or Controlling.
  • Experience in implementing internal controls and ensuring compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS.
