Ramsdens Financial Ltd is a trusted and expanding multi-service retailer offering financial services. We are looking to recruit a Senior HR/ER advisor working in our Head Office.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our HR team as a Senior HR/ER advisor. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, and policy development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with external agencies to resolve high-risk employee relations cases, including Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal claims.
  • Develop and coach managers in performance management, leading capability-related casework and advising on relevant policies.
  • Support junior HR team members on grievance and disciplinary casework, ensuring policy implementation and best practice.
  • Prepare management reports, monitoring key metrics such as turnover and retention rates.
  • Stay up-to-date with HR best practices, employment legislation, and share knowledge within the team.
  • Provide guidance and support to the HR team.
  • Maintain and update HR information systems, ensuring accurate and timely recording of staff information.
  • Participate in training activities, encouraging staff development and training.
Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
  • Proven work experience as an HR advisor or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with IT programs and HR systems.
  • Proficient IT skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Employee Relations knowledge and experience is essential.
  • HR advisory experience, with a good working knowledge of theory and best practice.
  • Personable with strong communication and relationship-building capabilities across all levels of the business.
  • Ability to design clear and fair company policies.
  • Experience of dealing with Early Conciliation and ET claims.

Job Type
