About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Accountant to join our team at Sulzer. As a Senior Controls Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of financial internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Drive standardization of financial reporting and processes across multiple entities.
  • Manage statutory reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Lead the transfer of activities to our outsourced accounting team.
  • Provide robust financial accounting and analysis.
  • Generate and maintain integrity of key financial reports.
  • Assist in monthly closing, including management analysis.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Pro-active and self-motivated with excellent team player skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA and degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounting or Controlling.
  • Experience in implementing internal controls and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS.
