Exciting Opportunity for a Corporate Support Officer

We are thrilled to announce a vacancy for a dedicated Corporate Support Officer within the NHS Scotland Corporate Governance team.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in a high-pressure administrative environment, with a solid understanding of the NHS or a similarly structured large organization, whether in the public or private sector. As part of a well-established team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative assistance to the Deputy Directors overseeing Digital, Finance, and Quality, Performance, and Planning.

This position demands adaptability, excellent organizational capabilities, and strong communication skills, along with experience in taking minutes during meetings.

The successful applicant will be tasked with various secretarial and administrative duties, requiring a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Collaboration within the Corporate Governance team and with external Health Boards will be essential. A proven history of managing competing priorities in a dynamic work environment is crucial.

We welcome applications from individuals who hold a recognized qualification in Administration, such as an HNC in Secretarial Studies or Business Administration, or an SVQ in Administration, or those with significant relevant experience. It is vital that candidates can demonstrate strong organizational skills, minute-taking experience, and exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

This role will primarily operate during standard office hours from Monday to Friday, with a hybrid working model of three days on-site and two days remote after an initial introductory period.
