Job Summary:

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to support the delivery of engineering excellence in their assigned project(s) on a staff basis.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the engineering for an assigned project scope to a schedule and in accordance with applicable procedures, specifications, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage engineering activities, including design, procurement, and construction.
  • Ensure compliance with project procedures, specifications, and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, including commercial and technical risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including discipline engineers and construction teams.
  • Ensure accurate and timely issue of project deliverables, including reports and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project engineering, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of project execution flowcharts and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Commercially astute, with a strong understanding of project contractual and commercial requirements.
  • Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing, and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems.
