Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our team as a Clinical Lead. This is an excellent opportunity for a medical professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the development of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Oversee the management of patient admissions and discharges, ensuring seamless coordination with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
  • Clinical Expertise: Provide day-to-day management of patients on the ward, including conducting risk assessments, coordinating with the MDT, performing outcome measurements, and reviewing physical health.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Conduct prompt mental health assessments, generate detailed reports and clinical summaries, and participate actively in audits, research initiatives, quality and performance management, and other relevant clinical and professional activities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, utilizing strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication and organizational skills to prioritize and manage a busy workload.

Requirements:

  • A medical degree (MB ChB or equivalent).
  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage a busy workload.
  • A genuine commitment to patient care and an interest in contributing to the development of mental health services.
