Job Description

Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Early Years Quality Improvement

Job Summary:

Lancashire County Council is seeking an exceptional practitioner with expert knowledge of early year's pedagogy to join our Early Years Quality Improvement team. The successful candidate will inspire and motivate practitioners working across all sectors within the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and challenge for settings across Lancashire
  • Writing and delivering training and cluster/network meetings
  • Travel across the county
  • Developing the learning environments at the Early Years Professional Development Centre
  • Working with other professionals within the service

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in aspirational teaching and learning, leading to positive outcomes for children
  • The ability to communicate effectively and disseminate practice clearly and passionately
  • Creative and critical thinking skills
